Why the preservation?

The Serra de Humaitá, located in the intermediations of a village, is an area of unquestionable scenic beauty and secular use by the local community, who since long ago performs religious and leisure practices, set up as a postcard for the small community.

In the face of threats that would disfigure the landscape and irreversibly impact on cultural practice and the environment, PREA planned to protect this important asset for present and future generations informing and calling the local community to act.
